A few weeks ago, we highlighted KQED's report on mercury in the San Francisco Bay. This week, KQED follows with a report on mercury consumption. Should you eat that fish? This report might help you figure things out.

Ok seriously... I wouldn't trust eating any fish or anything else that came out of that bay. Have you seen the rivers up in Napa and the delta that drain into it??

Our headquarters are right on the Bay, so we get a fairly personal--and intimate--look at the Bay. You touch on a problem that irks those involved with fishery management for the SF Bay. California's rivers are in bad shape, and our state's penchant for industrial agriculture does not help the situation.
