Bills, Chores, and a little 5.12

Pam Deem

Outdoor Diva Pam Deem

Becoming a Mountain Hardwear Diva isn't an easy task, expecially when you've got to juggle the responsibilities of being a single mom of two boys. Pam has stepped up to the role of both mother and father for her two boys, leading them on the types of adventures that boys need to grow up in the great outdoors. Pam works full time to pay the bills yet, chores and other issues never get in the way of her going out for a few hours of climbing, hiking or biking every day. She is truly a diva, because every day she's out doing what she loves in the outdoors.

On one particular backpacking trip in a side canyon of the Grand Canyon, we encountered a massive flash flood which required swimming through mule-poop-filled flood waters to worm our way out of the canyon. Now if that doesn't make a women hardcore, I don't know what does.

At the young age of 49, Pam is extremely fit and currently climbing 5.12 routes, makes the pre-dawn backcountry skiing starts and still makes it home in time to pick the kids up from school, take them on a little adventure and then cook dinner. If your looking for a Hardwear Hardcore Diva, Pam is your poster women. She's the do it all, extreme sports, outdoors junkie who is always smiling ear to ear for the love, joy and passion of the great outdoors and sharing that passion with her kids and others.
