Excelling Indoors and Out

Becky Trafecanty

Outdoor Diva Becky Trafecanty

Becky is one busy Diva. Between juggling her full-time job as a Family Specialist II for EMQ (a family and children's mental health company), taking a full load of pre-requisite courses and applying to UCSF's nursing school, training and traveling regularly as a boulderer, she still manages to find time to trail run in the hills of Los Gatos and escape for the occasional backcountry Eastern Sierra lark. She recently returned from Huaraz, Peru, where she volunteered at the regional hospital serving the indigent population and explored the vast potential of bouldering around Hatun Machay and the Cordillera Blanca. Becky loves putting her Mountain Hardwear gear to the test in her favorite destinations: Squamish, Mammoth Lakes, Bishop, Joshua Tree, and her backyard playground, Castle Rock. She plays as hard as she works; and if you've ever had the pleasure of bouldering or running with her, you'd know that this Diva means business!
