Always glamorous and beautiful, especially after 3 straight days of adventure racing, she's as successful in her athletic endeavors as she is in her career and her endless pursuit to help others. Addicted to working out and staying in shape for whatever epic adventure she decides to confront next, she sets the standard for "training for life". Whether it's 5-mile open ocean swims, ultra trail marathons, multi-day adventure races or 50 mile paddles, she approaches everything with a tenacity that makes the rest of us look like slackers. She symbolizes all that is good about endurance sports and outdoor enthusiasts with her dedication to various charities and causes and leading by example with her environmentally-friendly lifestyle. She is my hero and she should be yours as well.
