Who Can Apply?

  • Men & Women,
  • European citizen and/or part of Europe continent (geographical limits, from North of Russia to South of Spain, from Atlantic ocean to Oural mountains).
  • European residents too. All nationalities are accepted if the applicants lives in Europe continent (as defined before).
  • Maximum: 33 years old
  • Minimum: legal majority in regards of the national Law of each applicant (18 years old in France, Austria, Germany, Ireland, Italy... for example)
  • Mountaineering abilities will be selective. Applicants should have advanced skills in all activities related to mountaineering. An evaluation profile and a list of main realization is asked (see the list of documents to download and fill in)
  • Abilities to understand, speak, read and write English language is necessary. We are not asking for absolute "fluent" level but most of the communications will be done in English, so...
  • No exclusive sponsoring contract with clothing, equipment & material mountaineering brand

How Do You Apply?
You can apply from NOW until the 16th of March 2008
You have to provide us with 2 documents

  • 1) Personal Profile Sheet

    Fill in the Personal Profile Sheet completely.
    This document will allow us to learn the necessary information about you.
    English language ONLY
  • 2) A Detailed Presentation
    You must provide us with a presentaion that will introduce yourself, show your mountaineering abilities and illustrate your motivation!
    Languages allowed: English, French, German, Italian
    Formats allowed : Printed version (10 pages max) or digital version (PowerPoint, PDF or Word)
    ...Or...
    Video (3 minutes max), with the same goal. All files must be easily readable on a Mac & PC.

Please do NOT attempt to email your video presentation. If you are planning to submit a video to The Mountain ACademy, simply upload your video to one of the many free services on the internet and include the link to your video in your email.
